Rental terms

Eligibility

You must be at least [21] years old and hold a valid national ID, iqama or passport and a driving licence valid in Saudi Arabia. We verify your documents before your first booking.

Booking

Bookings are made only in the Angom app, and we confirm them there. Nothing is paid when you book.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Saudi riyals. Before you book, the app shows the full amount: the daily, weekly or monthly rate, insurance, extras, the delivery fee and 15% VAT, each on its own line.

You pay when you receive the car, at delivery or at the branch: mada, card or Apple Pay on our card machine, or cash. Online payment in the app is not available yet; if we add it, we will update these terms first.

Security deposit

A refundable deposit of [amount / rule] may be taken when you receive the car. It is returned within [X] days after you return the car, less any amounts due.

Rental contract

You sign the rental contract electronically in the app before pick-up. It records the version of these terms that applies.

Pick-up and return

The car is inspected with photos at pick-up and at return. Late return is charged at [rule, e.g. per extra hour; a full day after X hours].

Extensions

Ask in the app. Extensions depend on availability and on paying the difference.

Fuel and mileage

Return the car with the same fuel level, or a refuelling fee of [rule] applies. Mileage: [unlimited / X km per day, then SAR Y per km].

Use of the car

Only you and the drivers listed on the booking may drive. No off-road use, racing, carrying goods for hire, towing, or leaving the Kingdom [without written approval]. No smoking [fee].

Traffic violations

Violations during the rental are your responsibility and are charged with [administration fee].

Accidents

Report an accident straight away to Najm or the police, and in the app. Your liability: [deductible per insurance type]. Damage not covered by insurance is charged after assessment.

Delivery

Delivery and collection are available in [zones] for the fee shown before you book.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancel in the app (My bookings → Cancel). Nothing is paid when you book, so there is nothing to refund if you cancel before you receive the car.

• Late cancellation and no-show: [rule, if any, to be decided by Angom].
• Early return: [unused days refunded at the applicable rate / not refunded]; the rate may be recalculated, for example a weekly rate becomes a daily rate.
• If we cancel: for example because the car is unavailable: you pay nothing, or we offer you a comparable car at no extra cost.
• How refunds are paid: card payments are refunded to the same card within [5–14] business days, depending on the bank; cash payments are refunded [by bank transfer / at the branch].
• Deposit: returned within [X] days after return, less any amounts due under these terms.

Governing law

The laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia apply, and the competent courts in Riyadh have jurisdiction.
